Abstract: Objective To understand the specific service quality problems of occupational health examination institutions in Guizhou Province and explore solutions. Methods Fifty-one registered occupational health examination institutions with dust and noise were selected as the research objects. Data were collected in the forms of reporting, communication, data review, on-site practical operation and form filling. The quality problems of entrustment agreements, chest radiograph, pulmonary function, pure tone audiometry, individual reports and summary reports were analyzed and statistically analyzed. Results The main issues of the entrustment agreement: unclear/incomplete occupational hazards and exposed personnel lists. Chest radiographs: high waste/poor quality (scapula-lung overlap, improper parameters, artifacts, layout). Pulmonary function tests: failed quality control (unqualified extrapolated volume, PEF spike, abnormal expiratory time), some instruments unverified. Pure tone audiometry: masking/bone conduction operation, incorrect sound intensity/frequency settings , and some instruments unverified/uncalibrated. Individual reports: non-compliant conclusions, missing items, wrong results, unsigned physicians, incomplete inquiries. Summary reports: incomplete legal basis/lack of contraindications/suspected diseases/re-examination subforms and non-compliant review and issuance. Conclusion Guizhou’s occupational health examination institutions have service quality deficiencies, with prominent chest radiograph, pulmonary function and pure tone audiometry quality issues, and need to improve physical examination report issuance.
