回授法健康教育在炎症性肠病患者护理中的应用效果

Abstract: Objective To analyze the application effect of Teach-back health education in the nursing of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Methods Using a random number table, a total of 80 patients with inflammatory bowel disease admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were divided into a control group (n＝40, receiving routine care) and an observation group (n＝40, receiving routine care + Teach-back health education). The two groups were compared in terms of their Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale (ESCA) scores, Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire (IBDQ) scores, C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) levels, and nursing satisfaction. Results Before nursing, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in ESCA scores, IBDQ scores, CRP and ESR levels (P＞0.05). After nursing, the observation group showed significantly higher ESCA and IBDQ scores, and significantly lower CRP and ESR levels, with statistically significant differences compared to the control group (P＜0.05). Nursing satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (95.00% vs. 80.00%, P＜0.05). Conclusion Teach-back health education demonstrates a significant effect in enhancing self-care management awareness and ability in IBD patients. Compared to routine care alone, it is more effective in improving patients’ quality of life, reducing the inflammatory state, and thereby further promoting the positive nurse-patient relationship.
