探讨优质护理模式在改善颌面正畸患者牙齿美观度方面的效果

Abstract: Objective To analyze the effect of continuous nursing based on the medical consortium model on the aesthetic effect of orthodontic patients. Methods A total of 100 orthodontic patients admitted to the Orthodontics Department of Guizhou Medical University Affiliated Stomatological Hospital from June 2023 to June 2024 were randomly divided into two groups using PEMS3.1 for Windows “completely randomized (two or more groups) design program”. The control group and the observation group each included 50 patients. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received continuous care based on the medical consortium model for six months. Evaluated the self-management ability of patients before and after nursing, compared the orthodontic effects, aesthetic effects at three and six months after nursing, and oral adverse events between the two groups. Results After nursing, the scores of self-management ability in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the total effective rate of orthodontics in the observation group, which was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Three months and six months after nursing, the red and white aesthetic effect scores of the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the score of the Index Aesthetic Scale (IOTN-AC scale) required for orthodontic treatment was lower than that of the control group, and the incidence of mucosal injury and bracket detachment was lower than that of the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion Providing continuous care based on the medical consortium model for orthodontic patients can improve patients’ self-management ability, obtain higher orthodontic and aesthetic effects, and effectively reduce oral adverse events.
