Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of a smart platform-based full-cycle personalized nursing model on specialized knowledge mastery, quality of life, and self-image improvement scores in patients undergoing botulinum toxin injections. Methods A total of 120 patients receiving type A botulinum toxin injections in the Department of Medical Cosmetology between April 2024 and September 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group(smart platformbased full-cycle personalized nursing model, n=60) and a control group(usual care, n=60). Specialized knowledge mastery evaluation forms, self-image assessment scales, and the Quality of Life Brief Version(QOL-BREF) were administered at enrollment, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 12 weeks, and 24 weeks post-treatment to assess intergroup differences. Results At 2, 4, 12, and 24 weeks post-treatment, the observation group demonstrated significantly higher scores in specialized knowledge mastery and quality of life compared to the control group(P<0.05). Additionally, the observation group exhibited significantly higher self-image scores at 4, 12, and 24 weeks post-treatment(P<0.05). Conclusion The smart platform-based full-cycle personalized nursing model effectively enhances specialized knowledge mastery and self-image improvement scores in botulinum toxin-treated patients while improving their quality of life.
