2021-2023 年天津市北辰区动物致伤暴露人群流行病学特征分析

Abstract: Objective The epidemiological characteristics, types of injured animals, severity of injuries, wound treatment and immunization status of the population exposed to animal-related injuries in Beichen District, Tianjin from 2021 to 2023 were summarized and analyzed, with the aim of understanding the population profile, epidemiological characteristics, and the treatment and effects of animal injury exposure of the population exposed to animal injuries in Beichen District, Tianjin. To provide more basis for the formulation and implementation of rabies prevention, control and animal-induced injury prevention and control plans within the jurisdiction. Methods A total of 18,490 people exposed to animal-related injuries who visited and registered at the animal injury clinics of Beichen District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Xititou Town Community Health Service Center and Dazhangzhuang Town Community Health Service Center in Beichen District, Tianjin from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023 were selected as the research subjects. Statistical analysis was conducted on the basic information of the population injured by animals, the injured animals, the injury conditions, post-injury treatment, vaccination and immunoglobulin injection situations. Results The exposure rate of animal injuries in Beichen District, Tianjin from 2021 to 2023 remained relatively stable, increasing slightly year by year. In terms of temporal distribution, the exposure rate showed obvious seasonality, with July and August being the main time points for exposure to animal injuries. The animals causing injuries were mainly dogs and cats, accounting for 97.44%. From 2021 to 2023, among the population exposed to animal injuries, there were more females than males, and the age was mainly over 15 years old. The main injured parts of animals are the upper and lower limbs. The classification of wounds is mainly grade II and III. After being injured by animals, 61.67% of the population chose to handle the wounds by themselves. The number of people vaccinated has been on the rise year by year, with an overall vaccination rate of 84.78%. The utilization rate of immunoglobulin was 12.31%. Conclusion The exposure rate of animal injuries in Beichen District, Tianjin from 2021 to 2023 remained relatively stable, increasing slightly year by year. The main injured animals were dogs and cats, and the injured parts were mainly the upper and lower limbs. After injury, more than half of the population chose to handle it by themselves. The vaccination rate and the utilization rate of immunoglobulin were relatively low and prevention needs to be strengthened.
