光固化复合树脂充填楔状缺损的效果及并发症影响观察

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of light-cured composite resin filling and restoration in patients with wedge-shaped defects of teeth. Methods A total of 60 patients with wedge-shaped tooth defects admitted to our hospital from December 2023 to December 2024 were included. They were divided into two groups according to different restoration plans (30 cases in each group). The control group received conventional glass ion cement restoration, while the observation group received light-cured composite resin restoration. The periodontal index, gingival crevicular fluid inflammatory status, masticatory function, repair effect and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups of patients. Results The gingival index (GI), periodontal pocket depth (PD) , bleeding index (BI), plaque index (PLI), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) of the observation group after repair were all lower than those of the control group, while the mastication efficiency, bite force and total effective rate of repair were higher than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group and the control group was 3.33% and 13.33% respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant (P＞0.05), but it was lower in the observation group. Conclusion Through light-cured composite resin filling restoration, the periodontal health status of patients with wedge-shaped tooth defects can be improved, periodontal inflammation can be better promoted to subside, and the chewing function of patients’ teeth can be enhanced at the same time. The restoration effect is obvious.
