戴明环模式用于医务人员防护用品穿脱培训中的分析

Objective To explore the impact of the deming ring model (Play-Do-Check-Act, PDCA cycle) on the protective skills and risk of nosocomial infection of medical personnel during the training of wearing and taking off protective equipment. Methods 1 000 medical staff from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (January 2022 to December 2023) were included for observation and divided into groups using a random number table method. The control group (n=500) received routine training, while the observation group (n=500) implemented the PDCA cycle training mode on top of it. The compliance of medical staff using protective equipment, performance in protective skills assessment, incidence rate of hospital infections, and training satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the medical staff in the observation group scored higher in compliance with the use of protective equipment and satisfaction with training (P＜0.05). The assessment scores of the two groups of medical staff on the precautions for wearing protective equipment, mastery of standard prevention concepts, ability to handle occupational exposure, and principles of using medical protective masks increased after training, with the observation group higher than the control group (P＜0.05). The incidence rate of hospital infections in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion Applying the PDCA cycle model to the training of medical staff on the wearing and taking off of protective equipment can improve their awareness of protection and skills in safe use of protective equipment.
