针刀联合独活寄生汤治疗膝骨关节炎的作用机制与研究进展

Knee osteoarthritis(KOA) is a chronic degenerative joint disease that predominantly affects middleaged and elderly individuals. Its primary manifestations include joint pain and impaired motor function. As a common disabling condition, KOA can significantly impact patients' quality of life if not promptly treated with targeted therapies. Acupotomy, a distinctive therapy in traditional Chinese medicine, not only alleviates the pain associated with KOA but also effectively delays the progression of the disease. Duhuo Jisheng Decoction, a classic prescription in clinical Chinese medicine for treating KOA, represents a key scientific issue in the treatment of this condition, given its multi-component, multi-target, and multi-ingredient combined therapy approach. Studies have found that Duhuo Jisheng Decoction exhibits significant biological activity, yet its pharmacodynamic mechanism remains unclear, limiting its clinical application and promotion. Research indicates that Duhuo Jisheng Decoction exerts anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects through various pathways, including modulation of inflammatory factors, cell apoptosis, chondrocyte metabolism, and cartilage matrix degradation, thereby improving bone metabolism and reducing cartilage damage. Based on this, this study reviews the mechanism and research progress of acupotomy combined with Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of KOA, explores a new pathway from meridian imbalance to cartilage repair in KOA, and provides insights for clinical treatment practices.
