2022-2024年沭阳县碘缺乏病防治工作监测结果分析

Objective To analyze the monitoring results of iodine deficiency disorders(IDD) prevention and control in Shuyang County from 2022 to 2024, evaluate the effect of prevention and control measures, and provide a scientific basis for the follow-up control work. Methods The detailed data of iodine deficiency disorders publicity, household iodized salt monitoring, key population iodine nutrition monitoring, retail salt iodine content monitoring, and qualified iodized salt coverage survey in catering service units in Shuyang County from 2022 to 2024 were collected and analyzed by statistical methods. Results From 2022 to 2024, through various forms of publicity activities, the awareness rate of IDD prevention and control knowledge was effectively improved. The coverage rate, qualified rate and consumption rate of iodized salt in households were generally at a high level, but there were certain fluctuations. The overall iodine nutritional status of the key population was in the appropriate range, and the goiter rate continued to be 0.00%. Conclusion Remarkable results have been achieved in the prevention and control of IDD in Shuyang County. However, it is still necessary to pay attention to the fluctuations of individual indicators and continue to strengthen the publicity and monitoring of IDD prevention and control to ensure the consolidation and improvement of IDD control achievements.
