引导骨再生术联合颌骨囊肿刮治术治疗牙源性颌骨囊肿的效果分析

Abstract: Objective To explore the effect of guided bone regeneration (GBR) combined with curettage of jaw cyst in the clinical treatment of patients with odontogenic jaw cysts. Methods According to the random double chromosphere method, 100 patients with odontogenic maxillary cysts admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to November 2024 were divided into two groups: the control group (50 cases) underwent curettage of jaw cyst, while the research group (50 cases) underwent guided bone regeneration combined with curettage of jaw cyst. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results At 6 months postoperatively, the clinical efficacy in the research group was significantly higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05). The maxillary/mandibular height, mandibular width, masticatory efficiency, and occlusal force in the research group were also significantly higher than those in the control group at both 3 and 6 months postoperatively (P＜0.05). The pain index (VAS) score in the research group was significantly lower than that in the control group at 7 days postoperatively (P＜0.05). The disease recurrence rate within 6 months postoperatively was lower in the research group than in the control group (P＜0.05). Additionally, the gingival crevicular fluid secretion (GCF), C-reactive protein (CRP), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels in the research group were significantly lower than those in the control group at 7 days postoperatively (P＜0.05). Conclusion In the clinical treatment of odontogenic jaw cysts, the combined application of guided bone regeneration surgery and curettage of jaw cyst can effectively promote jawbone repair, effectively improve patient chewing function, and reduce disease recurrence.
