2016-2022年江苏省沭阳县土源性线虫病监测点流行病学调查分析

Objective To investigate the epidemiological survey results of soil-transmitted helminthiasis(STH) in Shuyang County,Jiangsu Province from 2016 to 2022.Methods From 2016 to 2022,Shuyang County served as a national surveillance site for STH infections.Each October,stool samples from at least 1,000 permanent residents aged≥3 years were collected and examined for helminth eggs using the modified Kato-Katz thick smear technique.Infection rates were calculated annually.Results From 2016 to 2022,the total infection rate of soil-transmitted nematodes among residents decreased from 0.89% to 0.10%(χ2=14.88,P<0.01),which indicates that the preliminary prevention and control work of STH carried out in our county has achieved remarkable results.Conclusion While the prevalence of STH infections in Shuyang County has shown a downward trend,elevated infection rates persist among the elderly,children,and rural populations.Targeted control measures are warranted for these high-risk groups.
