老年 2 型糖尿病共病患者多重用药的临床观察

Abstract: Objective To observe the polypharmacy situation in elderly patients with comorbidities of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods A total of 198 elderly patients with comorbidities of T2DM admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the research subjects. General data, diagnosis and medication information were collected, and the situations of multiple medications (≥5 kinds) and improper medication during hospitalization and after discharge were analyzed. Results The ages of 198 patients ranged from 60 to 91 years old (73.45±7.54 years old). The average number of diagnostic results was (7.83±1.53). Among hypoglycemic drugs, biguanides (67.17%), α-glycosidase inhibitors (46.46%), sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (37.37%), and dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (38.38%) have relatively high usage rates. Antihypertensive drugs are mainly angiotensin II receptor antagonists (37.37%), beta-blockers (26.77%), and calcium channel blockers (25.25%). According to the “Criteria for Judging Potentially Inappropriate Medication Use in Chinese Elderly People (2017 Edition)”, 41 cases of improper medication use were found in 28 medical records (14.14%). Conclusion Among elderly patients with comorbidities of T2DM, the phenomenon of polypharmacy is widespread, and there is a risk of improper medication. Clinically, it is necessary to strengthen the review and guidance of medication.
