超声龈下刮治联合西帕依固龈液治疗慢性牙周炎临床观察

Objective To explore the effect of ultrasonic subgingival scaling and Xipayi Guyin Liquid combined in the treatment of chronic periodontitis. Methods 76 patients with chronic periodontitis who visited the Maternal and Child Health Hospital in Linzi District, Zibo City from July 2022 to July 2024 were randomly divided into two groups using the coin toss method, with 38 patients in each group. The control group was treated with ultrasonic subgingival scaling, while the observation group was treated with Xipayi Guyin Liquid irrigation on this basis. Compared the periodontal indicators, pain levels, inflammatory factors, and adverse reactions between two groups after 4 weeks of treatment. Results Compared with before treatment, the plaque index (PI), sulcus bleeding index (SBI), probing depth (PD), and attachment loss (AL) decreased in both groups after treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P＜0.05). After treatment, the visual analog scale (VAS) scores of both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P＜0.05). After treatment, the levels of interferon-α (IFN-α), C-reactive protein (CRP), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) decreased in both groups, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P＜0.05). The comparison of local itching, redness and swelling between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference (P＞0.05). Conclusion The combination of ultrasonic subgingival scaling and Xipayi Guyin Liquid can alleviate pain response, reduce inflammatory cytokine levels, promote improvement of periodontal indicators, and have good safety in patients with chronic periodontitis.
