降钙素原联合C-反应蛋白、白细胞计数对肺炎的诊断价值

Objective Based on the results of gold standard sputum culture and chest CT combined examination, explore the application value of serum procalcitonin(PCT), C-reactive protein(CRP), and white blood cell count(WBC) combined test for the diagnosis of adult pneumonia. Methods 186 suspected adult pneumonia patients admitted to General Medical Xi'an Hospital from August 2023 to August 2025 were selected as the research subjects. After admission, serum PCT, CRP and WBC tests were performed, and the gold standard was the combined examination of sputum culture and chest CT. The gold standard results showed that 98 cases were diagnosed with adult pneumonia and 88 cases were diagnosed with other diseases. The diagnostic value of serum PCT, CRP, and WBC combined tests for adult pneumonia was explored. Results In the clinical diagnosis of adult pneumonia, according to the diagnostic gold standard sputum culture and chest CT combined examination results, the sensitivity, accuracy, and specificity of the serum PCT, CRP, and WBC combined test are higher than those of a single test, and there are differences in comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion In the clinical diagnosis of adult pneumonia, the combined testing of serum PCT, CRP, and WBC can further improve diagnostic efficiency and has significant diagnostic value.
